Orienteering Club Sokol Pezinok
Our club was founded in November 1951. During this long existence we have experienced lot of success, but also periods when we didn't do very well. Last years we were busy mainly with organization of competitions such as European Youth Orienteering Championship 2003 and ISF World School Sport Meeting In Orienteering 2006.
After losing our clubroom in the building of Sokol in Pezinok we decided to build our own clubhouse. We are very proud to announce that on November 23, 2007 we became the first orienteering club in Slovakia to open its very own clubhouse. We hope that our successors will continue to make everybody proud to be part of Orienteering Club Sokol Pezinok.
The age structure of our club is very heterogeneous. Member's ages vary from 5 to 70 years. Several complete families including children, parents but also grandparents being members prove that orienteering is a sport for everybody. At the moment there are 76 registered members in our club which ranks us as one of the biggest in Slovakia, but we still heartily welcome new members. If you're interested, feel free to contact us
